Christmas Parties
The month of December has always been a month for parties and excessive drinking (although the excessive drinking is not just in the month of December) and December 2005 has been no different.
At the weekend we held our inaugural Christmas BBQ at our house, this turned out to be a more civilised affair than any other party held at out house, no-one was to drunk to leave and no-one threw up, much to our disappointment as it really is time Nat had left our house a lot worse for wear, but her time will come. We had about 20 guests which was about half the amount we invited I guess that is what you get when you hold a party the weekend before Christmas, everyone had their partner or their own familyÆs Christmas parties to go too. I hurt my back, Lydia is convinced it was a result of me doing my Beyonce impression and dancing like an agile 15 year old, its amazing how wine loosens your limbs and joints ! I however am convinced it was lifting a full chilly bin and thatÆs the story I am sticking too!
The party signalled an end of parties for myself and Al before Christmas, bearing in mind the first one we attending was in mid-November ! However I have just learnt that we are going out for dinner and lots of fluids on Wed as a friend is home from London for the holidays, our arms are hurting so much after that twisting ………Yeah right !!!
